EQ Bank card launch

With the launch of the new EQ Bank Card, EQ Bank strengthened its position as a challenger in Canadian banking. The card lets customers handle everyday spending while earning high interest all the time, along with perks you simply won’t find at the big banks. It truly shifts expectations for what a banking card can offer. Starting from a blank slate, the team created the full launch experience. This included the card design, premium packaging and unboxing experience, website, ads, motion, and messaging. The card carrier was designed to feel special the moment customers opened it. On the website, we introduced engaging animations that brought the product to life and guided users through the card’s benefits in a dynamic and memorable way. The website later won a CMA award for its work. The campaign launched across web, ads, and email with a confident challenger tone and a flexible visual system built to scale across channels. Within the first few days, thousands of card orders were placed. The email campaign achieved a 66 percent open rate and 15 percent click-through rate, and paid ads delivered some of the strongest conversion rates we had seen.
